Looking To Cut Thousands Of Calories, Fairfield? Blot Your Pizza

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- New York style pizza is arguably the most delicious in the world, but it can also be among the greasiest. According to the New York Daily News, blotting that grease with a napkin can save calories and, ultimately, lives.

Citing a study in LabDoor magazine, the newspaper says that taking a napkin to your slice before eating it can save you about 6,600 calories a year, or the equivalent of 20 pizza slices.

The end result can be good for your waistline. The report says that cutting the calories, which also cuts down on annual fat intake, can spare up to 2 pounds over the course of a year.
