A Fairfield man was arrested late Monday after a violent attack on his 61-year-old father and allegedly pulling a gun on his own parents. Scott Luciani, 25, showed up at his parents' Woods End Road home at about 10:15 p.m. Monday, begging for a place to stay. But both parents have active protective orders against him.
When his father refused to let him inside, Luciani reportedly yelled, "You'll be sorry, I'll kill you all" and "You know I have a gun, and I'll use it." Luciani had a gun in his possession and put his hand in the pocket with the gun.
The father then stepped outside, to try to calm his son. When he did, Luciani punched his father in the head several times and forced his way inside.
Seeing the phone in his mother's hand, Luciani went toward her until his father stopped him and drew a few more blows to the head. The mother then called Fairfield police. When officers arrived, they found scratches on the dad's arms and face, and blood on the left side of his head.
Police charged Luciani with two counts of violating a protective order and one count each of third-degree assault of an elderly person, disorderly conduct, third-degree burglary with a firearm and second-degree threatening. He was held on $200,000 bond and appeared in court Tuesday morning.
