More Trips To Fairfield Beach Road Planned For Friday

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield’s officials have planned more trips to the western half of Fairfield Beach Road for residents to check on the damage to their homes Friday.

The National Guard will take residents who live on Fairfield Beach Road west of Reef Road in military vehicles that can handle the terrain. Home owners will be able to quickly assess the damage to their homes. Those interested should meet at the Sherman Green, at the intersection of Post Road and Reef Road, between 1-4 p.m. Friday.

First Selectman Michael Tetreau and other town leaders also will have another meeting to listen to residents’ concerns and answer questions Friday afternoon. The meeting is scheduled for First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road.
