FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County is in for another taste of wintry weather Tuesday with a chance of much more accumulating snow than seen in Monday's icy mix, AccuWeather.com said.
The snow is forecast to start at 7 or 8 a.m., making it unlikely for schools to be delayed or closed. However, schools could let students out early depending on the final strength of the storm.
The amount of snow that will end up falling is still hard to call, as forecasts range from as little as an inch with slush all the way up to 6 inches.
Coastal regions will likely see the most snow, but it will likely taper off by 2 or 3 p.m.
No matter what happens, it looks like this will be the first time to break out the shovels for the 2013-14 winter season.
