  • Ashyia Barnett of Bridgeport was arrested after getting into a fight with her boyfriend in a parking lot and throwing his keys onto the roof of the Andros Diner in Fairfield, police said.
  • Joe Harding, a member of the Fairfield University Class of 2018, FUSA Senate and Regis Residential Community Council, protested the deaths of black men at the hands of police.
  • Ten families of children killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting nearly two years ago have filed wrongful-death claim notices with the State of Connecticut, The Hartford Courant reported.
  • Lina Ivette Corchado, 36, of Fairfield,was arrested in an insurance fraud case, accused of reporting that her Jeep had been stolen when it had actually been purposely set aflame in Bridgeport while the police report was made, Fairfield police said.
