Fairfield Could See Single-Digit Overnight Wind Chills

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Residents of Fairfield County will have to really bundle up overnight with strong winds that are likely to produce wind chills near the single digits, according to the National Weather Service. 

Cold temperatures and bitter wind chills will keep everyone bundled up on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Temperatures will drop into the teens overnight with the wind chill making it feel in the single digits in some spots.

Wednesday will be slightly colder with highs only around 33 and wind chills making it feel between 10 and 20 degrees. Temperatures will only drop a few degrees overnight with a low around 26. 

Temperatures will rebound a bit on Thursday with highs around 44 degrees.
