Snow Possible In Fairfield Through Friday

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County could see another inch or two of snowfall on Thursday night as a fast-moving system passes through the region.

Snow will move into the area mainly after 9 p.m. Thursday. The chance of snow is 80 percent. 

Snow showers could linger in the area Friday before 9 a.m. with a high near 34. The chance of snow is 70 percent, with a dusting to an inch possible and possibly up to 2 inches in Northern Fairfield.

The sun will return Saturday but with brutally cold temperatures. Highs will be only in the low 20s with wind gusts of up to 37 mph making it feel even colder.

Super Bowl Sunday will be partly sunny with a high of about 27 degrees. 

There's a chance of more snow and a possibly significant storm in the evening hours and into Monday, but the path of the storm is yet to be determined.
