Two Students From Fairfield Warde Seriously Injured In Midday Car Crash

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Two teenage students from Fairfield Warde suffered serious injuries in a Knapps Highway crash after leaving the high school Wednesday morning, police told the Connecticut Post

The students -- 19 years old and 17 years old -- were traveling in a Jeep, which slammed into a pole at 11:15 a.m. near Knapps Park Drive, the Post said. 

Both students -- who were not identified -- were taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, the Post said. No details on their conditions were released.
