FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Albert P. Helmes, of Fairfield, died on Friday, May 20. He was 66.
Helmes was born in Queens, N.Y., to Albert and Frances Helmes, receiving an associates degree from St. Francis University and retiring from IBM after 25 years of service.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother Michael, and is survived by his wife Lori, two sons, Devin of Manhattan and Jesse of Fairfield, and two sisters, Harriett of Queens and Maureen Wiegelmann of North Carolina.
A memorial mass will be on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in Fairfield. Interment will be private.
