Born in Bridgeport to the late John and Irene Prion, she graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School with honors and worked as a bookkeeper for several restaurants. She was a great bowler and participated on the Amateur Bowling Tour. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed Bingo and going to the casinos.
In addition to her husband, Harry, she is survived by three children, Diane Korchman of Manchester, David Korchman of Fairfield and Alan Korchman of Newtown; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Meghan, and Thomas Korchman; and Kelly and Jennifer McArthur; and one niece and several nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Irene Bodie.
Friends may greet the family Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, Fairfield. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.
