FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Anna Merly Genovese, 90, of Fairfield, wife of the late Ernest Genovese, died Thursday, June 18 at the Jewish Home for the Elderly.
She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and was a Fairfield, Connecticut resident most of her life. She was a retired employee for the Fairfield Country Day School. She also worked at Columbia Records and the Unquowa School. Genovese was a longtime parishioner of the Assumption Church.
She is survived by her son, Richard Genovese (Kari) of Fairfield; a daughter, Merle Genovese-Tadduni, of Fairfield; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday, June 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave., Bridgeport and at 11 a.m. at the Assumption Church Fairfield for a mass of Christian burial. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum of the Mt. Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
