Anna Schoenfeldt, 84, Of Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Anna Krafcsik Schoenfeldt of Fairfield died Wednesday, Sept. 19, after a prolonged illness. She was 84.

She was born Dec. 12, 1927, in Bridgeport. She loved classical music and learned to play the piano as an adult. She became involved in politics when Texas businessman Ross Perot ran for president. A homemaker, she worked various jobs, including as a bookkeeper for the family business in Southport.

Schoenfeldt is survived by a son, John W. Schoenfeldt Jr. of Newbury Park, Calif.; a sister, Ruth Pulaski of Monroe, Conn.; two brothers, Michael and John Krafcsik, both of Newtown, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Schoenfeldt.

Burial will be private at Park Cemetery in Bridgeport. Spear-Miller Funeral Home in Fairfield is handling arrangements.
