FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Anne Albert Brown of Fairfield died Feb. 7 in Branford, Conn. She was 95.
Born in Bridgeport, Brown was a resident of Fairfield for more than 60 years. She was married to George J. Brown, who predeceased her. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. She also enjoyed years of traveling.
Brown is survived by two sons, James (Kathleen) Brown, of Stow, Mass., and William (Muriel) Brown, of Stratford; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Amelung.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Fairfield. Burial will follow at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield. Visitation is from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home in Fairfield.
