Bernadette A. Boyle, 86, Former Resident Of Fairfield

MILFORD, Conn. - Bernadette A. Boyle of Milford, formerly of Fairfield, died Sunday, Dec. 7. She was 86.

Boyle was born in New York City, to Allen Teed and Marie Westlake. She had been a Fairfield resident since 1950. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, where she had been a member of the Ladies Guild.

Boyle is survived by her children, Michael P. Boyle of Milford, Brian E. Boyle (Lee Anne) of Fairfield, Gerald A. Boyle (Barbara) of Grapevine, Texas, Matthew T. Boyle Sr. (Nancy) of Mahopac, N.Y., and Marie J. Boyle of Milford; daughter-in-law, Barbara Boyle of Woodbridge; sisters, her twin, Sr. Paul Marie Westlake, RSM of Erie, Pa., and Rosemary M. Murray of Riverside, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband Charles; sons, Charles J. Boyle, Jr. and Mark S. Boyle; and brother, Allen Teed Westlake.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Road, Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, meeting directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
