FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Berta (Belle) Bierstein, 96 of Fairfield, died at Jewish Senior Services in Fairfield on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Belle was born in Springfield, Mass., one of four daughters, to the late Morris and Mamie Zak. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Benjamin Bierstein and by her two sisters, Sally Press and Anne Wolf.
Belle is survived by her daughter Marcia Farber and her husband Alan, granddaughter Jackie Farber, sister Hilda Schwartz and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at the Loyalty Cemetery, 172 Burroughs Road in Fairfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Senior Services, www.jseniors.org.
