Ercolani was born Dec. 1, 1961, in Bridgeport and has been a lifelong Fairfield resident. He was a self-employed painting contractor. He was a graduate of Ludlow High School, and attended Broward Community College.
Ercolani is survived by his son, James (Irene Takacs) Ercolani of Fairfield; brothers, James Ercolani of Fairfield, and Joseph Ercolani of Bridgeport, Conn.; sisters, Melissa Hodges (Jerry) of Milford, Conn., Renee Molnar (Chris) of Guilford, Conn.; nephews and nieces.
Calling hours are Monday, April 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, Conn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield, CT. 06824. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, Conn., both the Harding Funeral Home of Westport and Spear-Miller Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
