Roda was raised in Norwalk and resided in Fairfield for 44 years. She graduated from Norwalk High School and worked as an administrative assistant for Brooks Community Newspaper until retiring.
She was predeceased by her mother, Antoinette Fabrizio Pesak, stepfather, John Pesak, and grandparents, Joseph and Rose Fabrizio.
Roda is survived by her husband, Sabbo; two sons, Carmen Roda and his wife, Veronica, and Robert Roda and his wife Allison, of Newtown, Pa.; five grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew, Nicholas, Alec and Matthew; three sisters, Sharon Matragrano and her husband, Gary, Sharlene Urban and her husband, John, of Redding, and Gail Rogers and her husband, Neal, of Easton, Pa.; three sisters-in-law, Carmella Vatelle of Newtown, Elizabeth Russo, of Southbury, and Anna Gallace and her husband, Joseph; a cousin Gloria Sklar, of McLean, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 1, from 4-8 p.m. at Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield.
Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien and be private.
