Carole Sherman, 76, Of Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Carole Sherman, of Fairfield, died Monday, Jan. 26, at the Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven. She was 76.

Sherman was born in New York City, one of two daughters to Harry and Estelle Brown. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose life was spent devoted to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Sherman; her two devoted daughters, Deborah Boles and her husband, Lanny; and Harriet Moriber and her husband, Paul; her sister; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two nieces; and by the many treasured and special friends she made over her lifetime. 

Services will take place Friday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at the Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2385 Park Ave., Bridgeport, with interment following at the Rodeph Sholom Cemetery, 190 Kings Highway E., Fairfield. Memorial contributions may be made in Carole's memory to Congregation Rodeph Sholom or to the Smilow Cancer Hospital Thoracic Oncology Translational Research Fund at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, Office of Development, P.O.
