Charles L. DeSiena, 81, Retired Attorney, DeSiena And Gallucci In Fairfield

PALM CITY, Fla. - Attorney Charles Louis DeSiena of Palm City, formerly of Norwalk, Conn., died Aug. 5. He was 81.

DeSiena was born March 1, 1933, in Bridgeport, Conn., to Charles and Philomena (May) Capozziello DeSiena. He attended Bridgeport schools and was offered the opportunity to attend Fairfield Prep. While there at the age of 15, he realized that he would pursue a career in law. He continued his Jesuit education at Fairfield University and the Fordham University School of Law, graduating in 1957. He was associated with the law firm of DeSiena, Guman and DelPercio in Bridgeport and retired in 2004 from the law firm of DeSiena and Gallucci in Fairfield, Conn. He was past director of the Bridgeport Jaycees, Junior Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Bridgeport Area TB Association, past president of Unico National, Bridgeport Chapter, and past president of Mill River Country Club in Stratford, Conn. He was a member of the Bridgeport Bar Association, American Bar Association, CT Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and the CT Trial Lawyers Association.

DeSiena is survived by his wife, Laurita Symington DeSiena; former wife, Rosemarie Perrett DeSiena of Fairfield; sister, Rose Ciesluk of Trumbull; children, Darlene DeSiena of Fairfield, Conn., Charlene (Ken) Nixon of Trumbull, Conn., Charles B. (Andrea Mozur) DeSiena of So. Windsor, Conn., Brian (Lauren) DeSiena of West Haven, Conn., and Louis (Kathy) DeSiena of Jacksonville; stepson, Dr. Michael (Marcie) Ferraro of Stuart; six grandchildren; and many cousins; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and sisters, Eleanor DelPercio and Doris Brideau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11 in St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
