David Rush, 75, VP At Traynor Motors In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - David Martin Rush III died Saturday, Dec. 7. He was 75.

Rush was born in Birmingham, Ala., son of Lucy and David Martin Rush Jr. He was educated at Verona, N.J., High School, Johns Hopkins University and Northeastern University. He enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1961 and served three years in Japan as a codebreaker.

He was vice president of Traynor Motors of Fairfield for eight years and was a partner in a Mazda Dealership and has sold Audis at Audi of Fairfield for the past five years.

Rush is survived by his wife, Patsy Rush; daughters Jennifer Anne, Mary Elizabeth, Sarah Lynne, and Susan Patricia; brothers Donald and Dennis Rush; and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Spear - Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Road, Fairfield. Funeral services and burial will be private.
