NEWTOWN, Conn. - Dominic E. Antolini of Newtown died Friday, Sept. 19. He was 79.
Antonlini was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Bridgeport, to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Antolini. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired firefighter for the Town of Fairfield with 25 years of service. He was a member of Firefighters Local 1426.
Antonlini is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Darren Antolini (Kate) of Monroe, Michael Antolini (Veronika) of Monroe and Randy Antolini of Newtown; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 22 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. directly in Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
