FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Dorothea 'Dot' Planeta Willette, of Southport, passed away suddenly Wednesday July 8, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport.
She was born in West Warren, Mass., the daughter of the late Mabel and Walter Planeta.
She was predeceased by her husband Ludger Willette, her sister Muriel Planeta Wells and her husband Charles, her great aunt Edith Fallon and her husband John.
She is survived by her brother Walter Planeta and his wife Edith of Fairfield; her daughters Doreen Souza and her husband James of Beacon Falls, Nancy Weil and her husband Howard of Seymour, Sandra Bufano and her husband Frank of Seymour and Elizabeth Willette of Shelton; sons Donald Willette and his wife Ronda of Seymour, James Willette of Sag Harbor, N.Y., Kenneth Willette of Southport, Richard Willette and his wife Nicolette of Shelton; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 661 Old Post Road Fairfield. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery 1530 Bronson Road, Fairfield.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Road, Fairfield.
