SOUTHPORT, Conn. – Elinor A. Heck, 89, of Southport, died Thursday, July 16.
She was born Nov. 10, 1925. She will be remembered by all for her devotion to her family, her selfless contributions to helping others, her inner strength and poise, her love of people, her zest for life and parties, her laughter and wit.
She married her husband, Harold D. Heck, in 1947. He predeceased her in 1996.
She is survived by their three children, Karen Izzo (Anthony) of Fairfield; Harold, Jr. (Jaquett) of Hobe Sound, Florida; and Ellen Lynch (John) of Southport; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A private funeral mass will be held Saturday, July 25 in Fairfield.
