SHELTON, Conn. - Elsie Lois Brunswick of Shelton died Saturday, Aug. 24. She was 73.
Brunswick was born May 30, 1940, in Strong, Maine, daughter of William and Elsie (Takacs) O'Donnell and has been a Shelton resident since 1971. She was a pharmacy technician at the former Stillson Drug Store and at Lupes Drug Store in Fairfield for over 30 years.
Brunswick is survived by her children, Kenneth Brunswick and his friend, Laura Paige, Gil Brunswick (Connie); daughter-in-law, Lynda; six grandchildren; brother, John O'Donnell (Bonnie), Catherine LaFrance, Carol LeBlanc (Lester), Mary Mikita (Donald); sisters-in-law, Ellie O'Donnell,and Rose O'Donnell; friends, Lucille and Lenny Savoie; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Marchetti; three brothers, Robert O'Donnell, Charles O'Donnell and William O'Donnell; and son, Michael Brunswick.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. The funeral procession will leave Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church Shelton. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford.
