ORLANDO, Fla. - Erva Livingston Phelps of Orlando died Sept. 13. She was 94.
Phelps was born in Burlington, Vt., daughter of Alice and Percy Livingston, and received degrees from the University of Vermont and Fairfield University. She was a teacher at Roger Ludlowe High School until her retirement. She was was a long time resident of Fairfield.
Phelps is survived by her daughters, Linda Phelps (Kurt McGill), Dale Paulison and Jennifer Gentile (Drew); 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Sidney Phelps; and son, John Phelps.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield, on 2475 Easton Turnpike.
