FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Francis J. (Frank) Ficarra of Fairfield died July 28. He was 56.
Ficarra was born March 29, 1957, in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of Robert Ficarra and Claire (Arnold) Ficarra. He graduated from Fordham Preparatory School, Bronx, N.Y. He went on to earn an undergraduate degree from Bates College and a law degree from Quinnipiac Law School. He ran a law practice in Bridgeport for many years.
Ficarra is survived by his wife, Stephanie (Lloyd) Ficarra; son, Robert Ficarra; daughter, Anniekaye Ficarra; brothers, Robert (Shawn) Ficarra of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Thomas (Lorraine) Ficarra of Concord, N.H.; sisters, Marie (David) Schoen and Jean (Richard) Hayes both of Brooklyn and Claire (Kevin) Gohn of Farmingdale, N.Y.; two nieces and a nephew; mother-in-law, Catherine Lloyd of Fairfield; and sister-in-law, Valerie Lloyd of Hackensack, N.J. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Tuesday, July 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31 at the funeral home. Interment is private.
