FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Frank George Betar of Fairfield died Wednesday, Nov. 27. He was 41.

Betar was born May 16, 1972, in Bridgeport, son of Sharon Krui Betar Calandro of Shelton and George Betar. A U.S. Army veteran, he was the owner and operator of Betar Painting.

Betar is survived by his mother, Sharon; and fiancé, Debbie; stepfather, Wilbur Varga; uncles and aunts, Michael and Sarah Betar, John and Anne Betar; cousins and great cousins, step brothers, Joseph Jr., Daniel and Nick Calandro; aunts, uncles and cousins from his step father’s family; his fiancé's, mother, Joan; future sister-in-law, Stephanie (Jim); and four aunts. He was predeceased by his father, George.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A presentation of military honors will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
