George H. Bulyk, 94, Former Resident Of Fairfield

WALLINGFORD, Conn. - George H. Bulyk of Wallingford, and formerly of the Bridgeport-Fairfield area, died Wednesday, Nov. 12. He was 94.

Bulyk was born Jan. 23, 1920, in New York, N.Y., to Michael and Nellie (Muzyka) Bulyk. He served during World War II in the Army Signal Corps, and later retired as a major in the Army Reserves. He worked most of his career as the CEO of numerous credit unions including The Electric Boat Federal Employees Credit Union, Perkin Elmer Credit Union, and Martin Marietta Credit Union.

Bulyk is survived by his daughter, Eleanor Carbonaro (J. Arthur) of Canterbury; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Helen (Bradetich) Bulyk; and brother, John Bulyk.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at SS. Peter and Paul's Church, 139 North Orchard St., Wallingford. Interment will take place privately at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
