FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Honorine Seidler Bjorklund, 94, of Fairfield, died Saturday, April, 11, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport.
Bjorklund was born in Park Ridge, N.J., and was an area resident most of her life. She was a retired employee for Perkin Elmer Co. She was an active member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Fairfield and the former St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Bridgeport. She was also a member of WELCA and AARP.
She is survived by two sons, Carl G. Bjorklund, of Fairfield, and Edward Bjorklund and his wife, Van Huyen, of Milford; one sister in Florida; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Bjorklund Sr.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 14, from 4-7 p.m. at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave., Bridgeport. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at the Larson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
