Immacolata Percio, Of Fairfield, 86

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Immacolata G. Percio, of Fairfield, beloved wife of Gerardo Percio, died Jan. 28. She was 86.

Born and raised in Volturara, Italy, Percio came to the United States with her husband and growing family in 1966. First settling in the Bronx, N.Y., they moved to Fairfield in 1994. She loved caring for her family and home. A devout Catholic, she was a member of Holy Family Church. 

Her memory will be cherished by her three children and spouses, Victor Percio and his wife, Deborah; Joanne Rinaldi and her husband, Anthony; and Roseanne Caputo and her husband, Leo, all of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and several members of the extended Percio and Lomazzo families.

In addition to her husband, Gerardo, she was predeceased by her parents, Domenico and Rosa Picardi Lomazzo, and 12 brothers and sisters. 

Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center. Funeral services will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home and 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Fairfield. Her entombment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
