Irene M. Wright, 90, Former Fairfield Resident

MILFORD, Conn. - Irene M. (Kasper) Wright of Milford, formerly of Fairfield, died Oct. 23. She was 90.

Wright was born in Bridgeport, to Peter and Anna Kasper and resided in Fairfield for many years before moving to Milford. She was a retired assistant to the comptroller at Richardson Vicks. She was a former member of the Fairfield Senior Center.

Wright is survived by her children Sharon A. Odle of Salisbury, Mass., Lynn Wright of Bridgeport, Craig R. Wright (Lorrie) of Woodbridge and Rick F. Wright of Fairfield; sisters-in-law, Shirley Kasper, Marian Carr and Shirley Billings; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Frank Wright; and brother, Thomas Kasper.

Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 26 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. directly at St. Gabriel's Church, 26 Broadway, Milford. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford.
