James M. Healy, Of Fairfield, Lab Technician, Waterbury Hospital

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - James MacKenzie Healy of Fairfield died Sunday, Dec. 14. He was 67.

Healy was born in Bridgeport, to Frank Healy Jr and Eleanor MacKenzie Healy. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Franklin Pierce University, served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves and worked as a lab technician most recently at Waterbury Hospital.

Healy is survived by his wife, Joan Draper Healy; stepsons, Frederic and Burtch Drake; brother, Frank Healy (Pam) of Easton; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, William "Greg" Healy.

Interment was private in the Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. A Memorial Service will be determined at a later date at St. John's Episcopal Church, 768 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Healy's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
