FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Joy Stile, 84, of Fairfield, formerly of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, April 21.
She was raised in New Haven by her late mother, Ruth Medick, and her late grandparents Anna and Isadore Mintz.
Stile volunteered her time to the Fairbridge chapter of ORT America.
Survivors include two daughters, Wendy (Joe) Valentine of Ocala, Fla., and Twody (Bob) Schless of Trumbull; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Gunther Stile, is deceased.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, at the B'nai Israel Cemetery, 117 Kings Highway, Fairfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Senior Services, 175 Jefferson St., Fairfield.
