Asterby was born Oct. 13, 1934, in Bridgeport, to Rose and Louis Toth. She worked at Harvey Hubbell early on in her life. She was a member in the Ladies Guild at St. Emery's Parish.
Asterby is survived by her children, Lisa Longwell (Glenn) of Trumbull, Robert Asterby (Sandy) of Houston, Texas, and Melissa Pelletier (Michael) of Trumbull; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Charles H. Asterby; several brothers; sisters; and nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held privately. A burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
