Grant was born Jan. 14, 1952, in Bridgeport; daughter of Francis and Genevieve Horvath Casey. She was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School, class of 1969, and had retired from the Southern New England Telephone Company, where she had worked for more than 20 years. She had resided in Fairfield, Stratford, and finally settled in Milford.
Grant is survived by her husband, George Grant of Oxford; children, Steven Farkas of Fairfield, Shannon Farkas-Lello (Albert) of Fairfield and Timothy Grant of Oxford; sister, Jennifer Powers of Bridgeport; brother, Charles Casey of Shelton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Saturday, Dec. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. with Reverend David Rowe officiating.
