Varza was born Sept. 25, 1926. She was born and raised in Bridgeport and resided in Fairfield for more than 65 years.
Varza is survived by her children, Victor Varza, of Columbia, Md., Dennis Varza, of Fairfield, Gail Santelle (Michael) of Trumbull; a granddaughter; siblings Thomas Broderick, of Florida, Catherine Broderick, of Bristol, Robert Broderick, of Shelton, Michael Broderick, of Fairfield, Patrick Broderick (Carole) of Wallingford; and, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Varza Sr.
Funeral services will take place Monday, Dec. 16, at 9:45 a.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center, and at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church. Burial will follow in Middletown Veterans Cemetery.
