FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Marie N. Giglio of Fairfield died Dec. 29. She was 86.
Born Dec. 9, 1926, Giglio was the daughter of Josephine and Frank Lutz. She was a resident of Fairfield for more than 16 years.
As a young girl, Giglio was an accomplished dancer and singer. She met Dr. Joseph P. Giglio while performing and they were married in 1952.
Giglio is survived by a son, Stephen A. (Ellen Asmodeo-Giglio) Giglio, of Manhattan; and a sister, Nancy Uricchio, of Pennsylvania.
She was predeceased by her husband.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Holy Family Church in Fairfield. Burial will be private. Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home in Fairfield Center is handling arrangements.
