Marie Lota, 91, Of Fairfield, Vice President, Hollander Metal Products

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Marie Miller Lota of Fairfield died Dec. 1. She was 91.

Lota was born Oct. 20, 1922, in New Haven; daughter of Robert and Loretta Costello Miller. She was a member of the 1940 graduating class of Warren Harding High School. She was employed by Hollander Metal Products for 35 years where she worked as the vice-president.

Lota is survived by her son, Samuel D. Lota Jr. (Carol) of Southport; daughters, Ann Marie Saltzman (Steven) of Milton Mass., and Patricia Sullivan (Stephen) of Marston Mills, Mass.; three grandsons; two great grandchildren; sister, Loretta Harris (Bud) of Shelton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Samuel; brothers, Robert Miller Jr. and Frank Miller; and sister, Hope Miller.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main St., Stratford. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 5 at 8 a.m. in the funeral home and at 9 a.m. in St. James Church 2070 Main St., Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Bruce Roby. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
