FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Marilyn Sullivan Russell, 81, wife of the late Gilbert Ross Russell and longtime Fairfield resident, died Sunday, July 5.
She was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, the Gaelic American Club and AARP group at St. Thomas Church in Fairfield.
She is survived by her son, Gilbert Russell (Susan); daughters Margaret Russell Rideout; Allison Russell Borowy (James); six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter Maisie Russell; a brother and sister-in-law; a sister; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister.
Friends may call Wednesday, July 8 from 4-8 p.m. at Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Road, Fairfield. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 9 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield
