Marion Arsenault, 102, Longtime Fairfield Resident

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Marion Arsenault, of Fairfield, died March 16. She was 102.

Arsenault was born March 24, 1911, in Port Chester, N.Y. She was the daughter of Willis DeBaun and Nettie Brower DeBaun. She was a resident of Fairfield for 79 years but grew up in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport. She worked for many years as an inspector at Underwood Typewriter in Bridgeport and in later years at Schick Corp. in Milford.

Arsenault is survived by her son, William McIntyre (Barbara), of Fredericktown, Ohio; and three grandsons, 12 great-grandchildren, a nephew and a niece. She was predeceased by her first husband, George H. McIntyre; her second husband, Alex M. Arsenault; and three sisters.

Calling hours are Tuesday, March 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Road, Fairfield. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, at 10:30 a.m. at the Fairfield Grace Methodist Church, 1089 Fairfield Woods Road.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Bette Pinder Scholarship Fund at Sacred Heart University, 5151 Park Ave., Fairfield, CT.
