Marion Fodor Lotzko Nierintz, 82, Lifelong Resident Of Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Marion "Honey" Fodor Lotzko Nierintz, a lifelong resident of Fairfield, died Dec. 19. She was 82.

Nierintz served as a cook for several local restaurant and bars, as well as having been an employee for Ames Department Store and Stop & Shop Super Market before retirement.

Nierintz is survived by her children, Roberta Smith of Tennessee, Patricia Gavin of Seymour, Robert Lotzko (Maureen) of Lordship, Gary Lotzko (Mary) of Seymour; stepsons, Robert Perry and Edward Nierintz (Deborah) of Arizona; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; brother, William Fodor of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Elizabeth Porch Fodor; husbands, Robert Lotzko Sr.and Ernest Nierintz; sister, Barbara Butler; son-in-law, Donald Gavin; and great-granddaughter, Stephanie Grispi.

Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center, with a prayer and committal service to be celebrated at 6 p.m. All other services will be private.
