Marion Kulikowski, 89, Formerly Of Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Marion P. Stupak Kulikowski, a Trumbull resident, formerly of Fairfield, died July 15 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was 89.

She was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Bridgeport to Mary and Joseph Stupak Sr. Kulikowski graduated from Stratford High School and Butler Business School. Married to John F. Kulikowski II, she lived in Fairfield for many years before moving to Trumbull. 

Kulikowski was the former owner of Shaw's Jewelers in Milford. She also worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement.

She was predeceased by her husband, John; a son, John F. Kulikowski III; a brother, Joseph Stupak Jr.; and a sister, Margaret S. Bednarski. Kulikowski is survived by a nephew, Capt. John L. (Ruth) Bednarski Jr., of Stratford; two sisters-in-law, Josephine Mack, of Stratford and Ann Rotzal, of Seymour, Conn.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Stratford. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday before the service at Pistey Funeral Home in Stratford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stratford Animal Shelter, 225 Beacon Point Road, Stratford, CT 06615.
