FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Lifelong Fairfield resident Mary F. Drewelus died Sunday, April 24. She was 101.
Drewelus was previously employed at Warnaco as a seamstress and at the Bassick Co. as an administrative assistant for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Anne Reece; her daughter, Dorothy A. Murren and her husband Thomas B. Murren; her son, Thomas A. Drewlus of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Russ Bulkley and his partner Jose Padilla, Donna Drewelus and her husband Dean Capozziello, Kimberly Preteska and her husband Erik, and Michelle Masliuk and her husband John; and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road. Interment will take place at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Church.
