FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Mary M. Musyt Dembosky of Fairfield died Wednesday, March 13. She was 92.
Dembosky was born Sept. 8, 1920, in Akron, Ohio, to Anna and George Musyt, and was raised in Olyphant, Pa.
In her earlier years she worked at Fairfield Preparatory School, and later for the Fairfield Board of Education at Roger Ludlowe and Andrew Warde High Schools as a head cashier and cafeteria worker.
She also put in extra hours as a waitress at the former Tokay Restaurant in Fairfield. She was also a member of St. Anthony Seniors and Women's Guild.
Dembosky is survived by her son, John R. Dembosky (Janet) of Fairfield; two grandsons; great grandson; sister, Helen Adamski (Edward) of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Tillie Luczak and Catherine Lance; brothers, Anthony, Andrew, Joseph and John Musyt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairfield. Burial will be private under the direction of the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Road.
