Nancy Petrizzi, 56, Of Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Nancy Petrizzi, of Fairfield, died on Sunday, Aug. 30, of cancer. She was 56.

Petrizzi grew up in Port Chester, N.Y., graduating from Port Chester High School.

She worked at Gannett Suburban Newspapers in Harrison, N.Y., and for Fairfield Schools Food Services at Stratfield School.

Petrizzi is survived by her husband, Ricky; daughter Amanda, sister Patty Langworth of Port Chester, N.Y., and her father Charles Amoroso.

She was predeceased by her mother, Teresa Amoroso.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, Sept. 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Spear Miller Funeral Home, at 39 S. Benson Road in Fairfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road in Fairfield.

Interment will be private.
