Pamela F. Green, 68, Of Fairfield, Violinist

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Pamela F. (Farnam) Green, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Dec. 2. She was 68.

Green was born Aug. 25, 1946, in Oak Park, Ill., to Robert and Pauline Farnam. She graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1964, and received a bachelor's degree in education from Park University in 1968. She was married to Glenn Green from 1971 to 1990, and resided in La Crosse, Wis., for many years. She relocated to Bradenton, Fla., in 2005, and then to Fairfield in 2014.

She was a violinist and participated in multiple orchestras throughout her life, including the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, Venice Symphony, and Sarasota Pops. She taught private violin lessons to many children.

Green is survived by her children, Bradley Green (Christiane) of New Hampton, N.H., Ryan Green (Sarah) of Olympia, Wash., and Nicole DeMattia (Michael) of Fairfield; 10 grandchildren; sister, Wendy Davis; brother, Robert Farnam; extended family; and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents; and sisters, Marilyn Farnam and Judy Farnam.

Calling hours are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, before an 11 a.m. memorial service at Black Rock Congregational Church in Fairfield, with burial following at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.
