FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Patricia Rose Murphy, 37, daughter of Charles and Dorothy Murphy, died on Sunday, Feb. 1 at Bridgeport Hospital.
Patricia was a lifelong Fairfield resident and a Fairfield High School graduate. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and games of all kinds. She also spent time going to flea markets, crafting and making costume jewelry. The various pets she had over the years brought much joy to her. One of Patricia's most memorable moments was when she met the New York Yankees.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is survived by a sister and brother-in-law; one niece; one nephew; two cousins; and one aunt.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Kelly Ann Murphy, and her godmother.
Calling hours will be for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 at the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Road. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 149 S. Pine Creek Road in Fairfield. Burial will be private.
