Patricia Sorrentino, 74, Of Southport

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Patricia Moore Sorrentino of Southport died Oct. 5. She was 74. 

Born Oct. 9, 1937, she was the daughter of Margaret and James Sullivan. She graduated from Harding High School and the University of Bridgeport School of Nursing.

Affectionately known as "Peach," Sorrentino enjoyed music, art, theater, playing bridge, travel and spending time with her family. 

Sorrentino is survived by her husband, Vincent; three children, Lisa (Dr. Timothy) Belliveau, of Stratford, Conn., Margarita Moore (Timothy) Bishop, of Stratford, Justina (Neils) Helkov, of Marietta, Ga.; three stepchildren, Glynnis (John) Carta, of Essex, Conn., Grace (James) Labbe, of North Kingston, R.I., and James Sorrentino, of Branford Conn.; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Dr. John Hartley Moore. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405. Adzima Funeral Home in Stratford is handling arrangements.
