She grew up in Pittsfield, Mass., and graduated from Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield and Everest College in Chesapeake, Va. She went to work in New York City, where she met her husband. They lived in Fairfield, Conn., with their children. Most recently, she worked at the UPS Center in Norfolk.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie Eaton Thompson; David DeForest Eaton (Norhizan); Elizabeth Eaton Milone (Joseph); and Deborah Eaton; and seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Andrew Eaton, Jr.; granddaughter, Leona Eaton; and one brother.
Viewing will take place Tuesday, at 7 p.m. at Amory Funeral Home in Yorktown, Va.,, and a funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 4 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church in Yorktown.
