FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Priscilla Egan, 82, of Fairfield, died Thursday, July 9.

Born Myrtle Ruby Nolen March 29, 1933, in North Carolina, she grew up in Bassett, Virginia. She was one of four children. All four siblings, as well as her mother and father, were musically gifted and she adored singing in the church choir. She toured the country as a singer and comedian and as one-half of the comedy team "Lou Black and Priscilla Nolen."

After appearances on “The Ed Sullivan Show” followed by six months performing at London's Palladium Theatre, she settled back in New York City, where she continued singing, acting and modeling. She met the love of her life, a photographer and musician, Raymond Egan, and they were married in Dec. 1962. They had one daughter, Amanda.

Egan received her real estate license and started with William Raveis Real Estate, and later moved to Coldwell Banker. She never retired.

There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Norwalk Hospital Foundation, 34 Maple Street, Norwalk, CT 06856.
